Position Title: Senior Controls Engineer
Position Duties: Design, implement and document control systems for various types of automated equipment. Conduct the electrical and hydraulic pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, and machine PLC programming. Coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with the appropriate build and electrical teams. Ensure that equipment is designed and programmed to customer and JR Automation build specifications using standard techniques and approach. Assist with the successful management of assigned projects as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction. Assist with the management of direct, indirect and overtime hours as they relate to workload, budget and timing. Assist in developing the Controls Engineering department through leadership, experience, positive attitude, encouragement and mentoring.
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
