POSITION TITLE: Crew Lead
POSITION DUTIES: Supervise workers (1-2 laborers) engaged in year-round landscape (planting trees and shrubs, weeding, mulching, bed edging, sod install, pruning) and winter maintenance projects (pruning, snow removal, tree removal) by visiting job sites and ensuring quality and timely completion of project requirements (30%). Train new workers in landscaping tasks and using tools and vehicles (15%). Visit job sites. Complete written daily work log of hours and activity (10%). Supervise repair of irrigation systems (10%). Oversee load and unload of materials, job site cleanup (10%). Drive vehicles and mechanized equipment, as needed (5%). Aid teams as needed (20%). Engage in short-term travel to unanticipated client sites in Wayne, Oakland, Livingston, Macomb, and Monroe counties. Multiple positions open.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires at least two (2) years of experience in landscape labor (any title). Must engage in short-term travel to unanticipated client sites in Wayne, Oakland, Livingston, Macomb, and Monroe counties.
