Our client, an industry leader in recycling and waste management, is seeking a Recycling Processor and Sorter to join their dedicated team. As a Recycling Processor and Sorter, you will be an essential part of the industrial department supporting efficient recycling operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Recycling Processor and Sorter
Location: Mount Pleasant, MI
Pay Range: $13.73
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm (with a half-hour unpaid lunch). During peak months, especially in July, additional overtime will be required and mandated, including shifts from 7 am to 4 pm and 7 am to 5 pm, including Saturdays.
What's the Job?
Processing and sorting recyclable materials such as paper, glass, plastic, and cardboard brought into the facility
Ensuring the proper separation of recyclable materials to support efficient recycling processes
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
Adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures at all times
Assisting with additional tasks as needed to support the recycling facility's operations
What's Needed?
No prior experience required; training will be provided
Ability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays with overtime in July that will be mandated.
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
