Shift: various start times-various end times
Hourly Rate: $23.47 an hour + $0.25 shift differential
There are three opportunities for these roles, one is for first shift and two are needed for the afternoon shift. These positions have been created to support AMD initiatives. Qualified candidates will be interviewed. These are awarded roles.
Role Title: AMD SME (Subject Matter Expert)
Position Summary:
The AMD SME will be responsible to learn the critical components of the AMD Pillar and supporting systems. This job duty will require the person to lead and train on all AMD activities. By becoming an AMD SME, you will have a more in depth understanding of the inner workings of equipment and how it is kept at base condition and maintained. The AMD SME will be considered to have the skills and abilities for drumbeats and off-season AMD events.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and train on the safe Lock-Out of equipment to prepare for CIL (Clean-Inspect-Lube) activities
Learn and train on what are the "7" types of defects. Learn to identify equipment defects and teach others how to identify defects. Learn and train on how to use the defect handling system
Coaches Team Members on Centerlines, CIL and 5S standards. Understand the criticality of following these standards
Learn the theory of forced deterioration and sources of contamination
Troubleshoots problems and opportunities on the line (initial problem statements)
Performs line CIL and base condition tasks.
Learns and understand equipment operating metrics such and downtime, stops, and MTBF
Supports and conducts employee training
Attends AMD meetings
Responsible for ensuring supplies are available to perform CIL Tasks
Performs CIL checklists
Review and track equipment operating metrics
Coordinate with AMD Leads on resourcing
Ensures break rotation occurs timely (filling in when needed)
Reduce downtime
Create OPL's (One Point Lessons)
Key team member of the continued improvement of our equipment
Promotes a winning culture, builds a strong plant team
Utilize SAP for Defect Reporting and Analysis

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:
Education:
Available at drumbeat sessions and training
Previous Equipment Operation or Maintenance
Great way to build technical skills and expertise in machinery maintenance
Skills required:
Excellent reasoning skills - ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make conclusions
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills with good listening skills
Ambitious self-starter with ability to work with minimal direction
Strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment
Comfortable working in manufacturing environment
