Job Responsibilities:
Work with Systems Chiefs to coordinate the cross functional system team.
Oversee the propulsion system development process (PSDP) governance and reporting (milestone reviews/program reviews/weekly meetings and updates).
Work with the SRT engineering functions to prepare ER&D budget convergence for milestone approval.
Manage timing and readiness consistency for the entire propulsion system (PRS).
Work with the Cost & Finance Manager to manage product cost and program budget during execution.
Responsible for managing quality risks/issues reactively and proactively.
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, business, or related degree field
10 years of experience in automotive or propulsion
5 years of experience as a program or technical manager
Knowledge of propulsion hardware, propulsion calibration, and propulsion controls
Experience in program management of complex products
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work within, as well as lead, cross-functional teams
Able to meet aggressive deadlines and be available to support travel if required
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science or Master of Business Administration
Strong interest in automotive industry and high-performance vehicles
Direct experience in the development of propulsion systems
Knowledge of and experience with PDP and PSDP
