Facial Hair Policy
In accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), tight-fitting respirators cannot achieve an adequate facial seal when facial hair is present at the sealing surface. Employees who choose to wear a tight-fitting respirator must be clean-shaven where the device seals to the face. Facial hair that does not interfere with the sealing surface may be acceptable on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with questions are welcome to discuss this policy during the interview process.
