Position Summary:
A full-time fixed-term lecturer position beginning August 2026. This is a one-year appointment. Teaching area will focus primarily on fashion merchandising.
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the start date of the appointment. Employment is contingent upon verification of work authorization in accordance with federal law. The successful candidate must be able to provide on-campus, face-to-face instruction.
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or related area.
• Ability to teach a variety of fashion merchandising classes, including retail management, visual merchandising, and styling.
• Solid background in Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

About the Department:
The Department of Fashion, Interior Design, and Merchandising offers a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising & Design both on-campus and online. The program serves approximately 140 majors with well equipped classrooms, studio space, and CAD lab.
