Position Description & Qualifications
We are expanding our Talent Acquisition team and seeking highly strategic Experienced Government Contracting Recruiters to lead full-cycle recruitment. This is an opportunity to partner directly with leadership and help shape the organization's talent strategy while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing TA function.
As a senior recruiter, you will own the end-to-end recruitment life cycle for leadership, and hard-to-fill roles across key business units. You will function as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving proactive talent strategies and delivering high-impact hiring outcomes.
In this role, you will provide:
Talent Strategy & Search Support
Lead full-cycle searches for various level of positions
Partner with leadership to define hiring strategies aligned to contract requirements, program growth, and recompete efforts
Stakeholder & Leadership Partnership
Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and senior leadership
Facilitate intake sessions, calibration discussions, and senior leader debriefs
Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and competitor talent trends
Candidate Engagement & Assessment
Conduct in-depth interviews focused on leadership competencies, cultural alignment, and organizational impact
Deliver a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience for senior talent
Manage and nurture relationships with passive candidates and long-term talent pipelines
Offer Negotiation & Closing
Lead complexes offer negotiations in partnership with HR and leadership
Influence and guide decision-making to successfully close top-tier candidates
Operational Excellence & Reporting
Maintain accurate and confidential records in the ATS (SuccessFactors or similar)
Track and report on recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, slate quality, and diversity outcomes
Ensure an elevated level of discretion and professionalism throughout the search process
Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor hiring activity, and talent movements
Contribute to the evolution of senior level recruiting best practices within the organization
Key Skills & Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
Education & Experience
High School Diploma/GED with minimum 5 years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience OR
Bachelor's degree with 4 years of progressive, full-cycle recruiting experience, OR
Master's degree with 3 years of progressive, full-cycle recruiting experience
Experience operating as a trusted talent advisor within federal or government contracting environments
Advanced Talent Acquisition Expertise
Strong track record of leading end-to-end recruitment strategies, including workforce planning, requisition intake, sourcing, selection, and offer negotiation
Expertise in identifying, engaging, and converting high-value, passive talent in competitive markets
Proven ability to build and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
Innovative Sourcing & Market Intelligence
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute targeted, multi-channel sourcing strategies, leveraging:
Digital platforms and social media
Competitive intelligence and talent mapping
Networking, referrals, and industry engagement
Applies labor market insights and competitive benchmarking to inform recruiting strategies and hiring decisions
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Skilled at navigating complex organizations and building credibility with senior leadership and cross-functional partners
Strong capability in consultative problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing without authority
Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-visibility requisitions with competing deadlines
Technology & Tools
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., SuccessFactors or similar), with ability to leverage systems for reporting and process optimization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and executive-level reporting
Professional Competencies
Exceptional communication and executive presence, both written and verbal
Strong business acumen and decision-making capability
High level of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to participate in offsite recruiting events, industry engagements, and career fairs (up to 10% travel annually)
