The ability to run a stamping press on 1st shift. Pay will depend on experience.
We work 4 - 10-hour days.
Job Purpose Summary: To produce quality parts in an efficient and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Operate the press and perform other duties according to specific job instructions provided (ex: coil changes, in-process inspection sheet, SPC, etc)
· To demonstrate the company's values set out in VICTR in all aspects of work
· Report all equipment and production related issues to supervisors for resolution
· Ensure that only quality parts are passed on to the next operation/packaged for customer
· Comply with the Company's 5S procedures by contributing to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, cost reduction, safety and housekeeping
· Record all production activities and complete quality documentation in an accurate and timely manner in PLEX ERP system
· Responsibilities as outlined in Accurate's Quality Management System per SOP-400-03, Core Training Matrix (roles and responsibilities to satisfy IATF 16949)
· Maintain a clean production work-area
· Assume other responsibilities and tasks assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the Company
Expectations:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· A minimum of two years of manufacturing experience (Recommended)
· Direct press operating experience and press safety training is required (on the job training available)
· Experience with measuring equipment (ex: Vernier, micrometer, etc.)
· Level of Math understanding as demanded by job requirements
· Basic understanding of English language (oral and written)
· Basic Computer skills
· Must be physically capable of performing work required
· Willingness to learn on the job, flexible with strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to adapt to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment both within a team or independently.
· Good understanding of quality control principles.

Working Conditions & Equipment used
The employee is exposed to high noise levels from operating machines and on the plant floor. Potential hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, and skin exposure to cutting and drawing oils.
