Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the Automotive Manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join their team. As an Automotive Quality Manager, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Automotive Quality Manager
Location: Holland, Michigan
Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 base DOE plus Benefits, Bonus
What's the Job?
Provide leadership for Quality Systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee advanced quality planning, supplier quality assurance, and testing laboratories to maintain high standards.
Manage customer complaints, product submissions, and implement lean techniques to optimize processes.
Supervise personnel who interact with customers and contribute to product design improvements.
Lead efforts to maintain ISO 9001/2000 and ISO 17025 compliance, monitoring performance against strategic objectives.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, or quality control.
Ten years of diverse professional and managerial experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment, including financial and budget responsibilities.
Proven employee relationship and management skills to develop, support, and motivate a high-performing quality assurance team.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Demonstrated strategic decision-making and leadership capabilities in a manufacturing setting.
