Summary:
- Oversee daily mold production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Manage and train mold team members on best practices and safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to mold production.
- Collaborate with other departments to align production goals and schedules.
- Technical Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of molding experience.
- Precision skill managing mold temperature control systems.
- Expert capability optimizing degas cycles and cure times.
- Ability to troubleshoot flash, voids, and under-cure issues.
- Strong competence reading blueprints and GD&T data.
- Technical & People Leadership
- Minimum 2 years leading production teams or shifts.
- Proven track record mentoring and developing junior operators.
- Active champion for plant safety and LOTO compliance.
- Lead investigator for root-cause analysis on defects.
- Skilled coordinator across Quality, Tooling, and Maintenance.
- Calm decision-maker during high-stress operational downtime
