Perform engineering calculations and analysis for the design of reinforced prestressed concrete and steel bridge structures. Develop or assist in developing structural details and construction plans. Coordinate with CAD staff on the development of structural layouts and details. Prepare material quantity calculations. Perform load rating analyses. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in job offered, or Bridge Engineer, or in a related occupation.

- Bridge Design Software including L-Pile, spColumn, and AASHTOwareBR
- Computer Aided Drafting (MicroStation Connect and OpenBridge)
- Structural design with emphasis on bridge structures
- Bridge inspection reports
- In-service bridge inspection
- Bridge rehabilitation consisting of FRP strengthening of concrete beams
- Support during construction including responding to RFI’s and shop drawing reviews
