POSITION SUMMARY: The Customer Service Analyst I will play a key role in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business needs within Republic Services' Environmental Solutions Customer Support group. The incumbent will assist the Customer Support Manager in conducting comprehensive data reviews, and developing effective ways to visualize and present data, and monitoring profit margins and cost analysis for both internal and external vendors.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in gathering, organizing, and preparing data for analysis. Supports in identifying trends and compiling findings into reports, contributing to departmental insights under direct supervision and guidance.
Uses Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to aid in supporting customer metrics and reporting. Helps with setting up basic data feeds and preparing automated reports under direct supervision.
Assists in extracting, compiling, and organizing data from multiple systems to support the creation of comprehensive reports. Helps ensure data accuracy and organization under close supervision.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in supporting ongoing business analysis needs. Participates in meetings and helps maintain project timelines and deliverables, working closely with the PMO, Business Solutions Managers, IT, and other teams under guidance and supervision.
Helps identify business and technical needs during the design, development, and implementation phases. Supports the team in gathering requirements and ensuring they are addressed under supervision.
Aids in reviewing customer requests and internal business needs. Helps prioritize tasks to support process improvements and deliver customer value, under close supervision and guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate complex data findings and provide clear summaries of insights.
Skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work independently with guidance from senior management.
Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets.
Knowledge in effective communication and responding to sensitive inquiries and requests.
Project management skills, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

This position is a hybrid where you would have the option to work in 1 of 5 locations (below). Hybrid is 4-days per week onsite, and 1-day remote. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. This position will NOT be eligible to be fully remote.

The pay range for each location is as follows:
Arizona: $46,600.00 - $70,000.00
Idaho: $44,300.00 - $66,500.00
Michigan & Texas: $49,000.00 - $73,400.00
Massachusetts: $53,600.00 - $80,400.00
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with some experience in hazardous waste (hazmat) to support our operations and customer engagements. This role will combine data reporting, platform ownership, and cross-functional communication to ensure efficient system performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the organization's online platform, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently
Serve as a liaison between IT, internal stakeholders, and external customers
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams
Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and communicate recommendations to IT
Develop and maintain reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms
Analyze data trends to support business decisions and operational enhancements
Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and provide updates
Preferred Qualifications
A preference for candidates who have approximately 2 years of experience
Some exposure to hazardous waste (hazmat) processes or environments is preferred
Experience creating and working with data reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities
