Job Summary:
As the Maintenance Person, you perform general, routine maintenance and servicing operations through the hospital plant and area as directed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
Completes work orders and PMs in a timely manner.
Performs minor repairs on equipment and machinery and to buildings and facilities, including painting, plastering, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical power.
Performs maintenance, repair, or replacement of broken parts.
Maintains all required departmental records, reports, and files as required.
Keeps work areas orderly, clean, and safe. Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies.
Performs other job duties as requested.

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to operate hand and/or power tools
Must be able to do basic mathematical computations
Must be able to hear, read, and comprehend technical instructions
Must have the ability to deal effectively with a changing environment and be open to new ideas
1yearprevious experience in similar position, preferably in an institutional setting
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR in order to be covered under the Company's insurance policy
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Trade school diploma or degree from a technical school
