Supreme Machined Products is looking for an accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a modern ERP system and will have exposure to a wide variety of finance and accounting areas in a manufacturing environment.
Initial responsibilities:
General ledger accounting and preparation of monthly financial statements
Daily treasury supervision; including Cash, AP, and AR
Assist HR with payroll process
Fixed asset accounting
Physical inventory cycle count process
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years accounting experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective time and resource management skills
Knowledge and ability to perform account reconciliations and data analysis, along with taking corrective action and developing process improvements
Knowledge to work with and ability to learn new information technology in accounting area
Experience with ERP systems is a plus
