- Experience with accounting software or the ability to quickly learn
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during tax season
- Previous clerical or administrative experience
- Experience working with the public in a professional setting
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems
- High level of accuracy in proofreading, data entry, and filing tasks
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Great attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Accounting and small office experience is a plus but not required
- Must be comfortable working as a team with other departments within the office
