Role Overview
The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and strategic support to senior leadership, including CXOs, VPs, and SVPs, within a fast-paced IT organization. This role requires advanced organizational, communication, and technology skills to manage complex priorities, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
Manage complex calendars, meetings, and appointments across multiple time zones
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, visas, accommodations, and itineraries
Collaborate with executive leadership teams and coordinate with senior offices such as CEO, CFO, and other leadership stakeholders
Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for leadership discussions
Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and correspondence
Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Meeting & Event Coordination
Organize executive meetings, board meetings, and leadership reviews
Prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track action items to completion
Coordinate town halls, client visits, and internal events
Ensure proper setup and use of collaboration tools such as MS Teams
Partner with executive assistants across the organization to support enterprise-level meetings and events
Stakeholder Management
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive business information
Build and sustain strong cross-functional relationships across departments such as HR, Finance, and IT
Communication & Reporting
Draft professional communications, including emails and presentations
Prepare regular reports, executive summaries, and updates
Ensure alignment and consistency in communication across team
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
Basic understanding of IT processes and terminology
Experience with calendar and task management tools

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
10-20 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within the IT or BPO industry
Prior experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams

Salary and Other Compensation :
We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in the United States. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 - $95,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
