Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $28 - $28 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Progressive Die Maker / Die Repair Technician:
Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and build progressive stamping dies
Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and dies to minimize downtime
Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions
Set up and make adjustments to dies to ensure quality production standards are met
Read and interpret blueprints, tooling prints, and engineering drawings
Operate tool room equipment including mills, grinders, lathes, and other manual machining equipment
Fabricate, modify, and fit tooling components as needed
Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve tooling performance
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling and manufacturing processes
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
3 + years of progressive die repair, die making, or tool and die experience
Experience working with progressive stamping dies in a manufacturing environment
Ability to troubleshoot tooling and production issues independently
Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges
Ability to weld, grind, machine, and fit tooling components preferred
Journeyman Tool & Die Card preferred but not required
Progressive stamping die build experience
Automotive manufacturing experience
Knowledge of die tryout and press operations
CNC machining experience a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
