Job Title Senior Business Analyst - Agile & Process Improvement
Overview / Summary DTMB Agency Services is seeking a Business Analyst 5 to support the Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) Agency. This role will serve as the liaison between DTMB and project stakeholders while providing facilitation, requirements elicitation, and process modeling support for ongoing enhancements and related work projects. The Business Analyst will also contribute to operational activities and support various work requests for EGLE as part of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the liaison between DTMB and project stakeholders
Facilitate discussions and requirements elicitation activities
Conduct business process review and process modeling
Develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects
Participate in various work requests supporting EGLE
Contribute to operational activities of the Business Analyst team
Support Agency compliance with DTMB policies and practices
Quickly gain understanding of applicable constraints and enablers to support project success
Work collaboratively with senior management to determine strategy, develop road maps, and build consensus
Support development of and compliance with statements of work and other work agreements/contracts
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation, including process modeling
Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development projects
Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management to facilitate discussions, determine strategy, develop road maps, and gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
Minimum of 2 years supporting development of or compliance with statements of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing and/or implementing IT solutions for public use
Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations
Self-directed, well organized, and adaptable to changing needs and direction
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
