Apprentice Electrician - Traverse City, MI
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to support residential and commercial electrical projects. This role provides hands-on training under licensed electricians while developing skills in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Job Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
Pull, route, and secure wire and conduit (EMT, PVC, etc.)
Install electrical components including outlets, switches, lighting, and panels
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Support rough-in and finish electrical work on job sites
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and electrical codes (NEC)
Essential Skills & Qualifications
State of Michigan Electrical Apprentice Certification
Electrical installation experience in residential and commercial settings
Ability to read and work from blueprints and project plans
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
