Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder Fabricator
Job Description
Join our team as a 2nd Shift Welder Fabricator where you will be integral in crafting steel staircases, railings, and other structural components for various building projects. The role begins with training on the 1st shift for 1-2 months before transitioning to the 2nd shift, which runs from 4:00pm to 3:00am, Monday through Thursday, with planned overtime on Fridays. A 10% shift premium is offered upon transition.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel.
Fabricate structural steel components, including staircases and railings.
Read and interpret blueprints to complete assigned tasks.
Utilize shop equipment such as grinders, drills, taps, brakes, and shears.
Contribute to miscellaneous steel department projects.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Strong fabrication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge of layout processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aluminum, carbon steel, or stainless steel.
TIG welding skills.
Certificates and training, preferably from GRCC welding program.

Work Environment
2nd shift hours are 4:00pm - 3:00am, Mon - Fri. Training will take place on 1st shift from 5:00am - 4:00pm. Experience a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where teamwork and accountability are key. Our employees are expected to maintain a 'work first' attitude to achieve project goals efficiently. The role involves supporting the miscellaneous steel department on 2nd shift with no weekend work, ensuring a balanced work schedule.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
