Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an enterprise organization, is seeking a skilled Contract Manager II. This role is responsible for managing medium to high-value supplier contracts, driving vendor performance and compliance, and maximizing value throughout the contract lifecycle. The ideal candidate will lead contract administration activities, support supplier performance initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful contract execution and business outcomes.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute contract management strategies that align with business objectives and operational requirements
- Define and maintain contract terms, conditions, and governance processes in accordance with organizational standards
- Manage supplier contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle, including implementation, modifications, renewals, extensions, and closeout activities
- Monitor vendor performance, compliance, and service delivery against contractual obligations and performance expectations
- Enforce contract terms, payment conditions, and commercial requirements
- Resolve contractual disputes, performance concerns, and business issues between vendors and internal stakeholders
- Develop, track, and report contract performance metrics, supplier scorecards, and compliance measures
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve supplier performance and maximize contract value
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders to support contract strategy and execution
- Support contract negotiations and development of commercial terms and conditions
- Coordinate change management activities related to contract modifications and amendments
- Ensure executed contracts are properly communicated to stakeholders to support implementation and operational alignment
- Collaborate with supplier selection teams to evaluate vendor capabilities and support sourcing initiatives
- Analyze contract management processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to departmental best practices and process improvements
Skills & Experience
Required
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, supplier management, or vendor performance management
- Experience managing medium to large-scale contracts through the full contract lifecycle
- Experience monitoring vendor performance, compliance, and contractual obligations
- Knowledge of contract administration, contract modifications, renewals, and closeout processes
- Experience developing contract performance metrics, reporting, and supplier scorecards
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across business, operations, procurement, and supply chain functions
- Experience resolving contractual issues and managing supplier relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience supporting supplier performance management programs
- Experience with contract negotiations and commercial strategy development
- Experience leading large-scale projects or cross-functional initiatives
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization practices
- Experience utilizing SAP, Maximo, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) platforms

- Experience mentoring team members or providing leadership within contract management organizations
