About the role: Electrical Coordinator / Lead
For this position, you will work onsite at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. This is a full-time contract opportunity for 6 -12 months. You will report to the Site Project Manager and the Manager of I&C Installation Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key resource for look-ahead for electrical activities
You will work as an Electrician with Lead responsibilities.
You will report back to the Management team of any potential problems, working interference, and any schedule deficiencies.
You will assist in resolving any issues.
Lead Electricians to complete the project meeting milestones set for the project.
Adhere to all safety requirements, stop work and report any safety issues immediately should they arise.
Qualifications:
Electrician with 3 years Lead Experience
Experience in maintenance modifications
Installation/ fabrication of Conduit and Supports
Installation of copper and fiber cables
Cable terminations and modifications
Installation of power and control panels/ switch gear
Use a multi meter to include Live-Dead-Live
Raychem splicing of low voltage
Electrical safe work practices
Clearance order verifications
Temporary power installation
Experience in nuclear power as JM electrician
Will read, write, speak and take tests in English without an interpreter or accommodations per US nuclear requirement.
