Ensure corporate policy/procedure followed at manufacturing sites
Supervise site accounting leadership at North American Sites
Oversee/analyze annual manufacturing site plans
Track costs and provide data for all performance variables including: labor, expenses, projects, fixed costs, unit costs, etc.
Facilitate accounting conference calls and Plastipak North America finance and controlling meetings
Develop and implement training programs for site controlling group
Participate in site and regional management meetings
Report findings of weakness in internal controls and non-compliance to corporate procedures to Controller - North America
Act as controlling communication focal point between sites and corporate
Prepare Ad hoc reports and projects as required by Controller – North America
Responsible for working on continuous improvement in all procedures and systems to eliminate waste and non-value added work
Develop and implement training programs for site controlling group
Travel for education and training to corporate locations worldwide up to 25%

Additional Requirements

Master’s degree in Financial Analysis + 1 year of financial analysis experience to include analysis of product pricing related to the manufacturing of plastic rigid containers.
