Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager. This role is highly coordination focused and does not require hands-on technical delivery. The Project Manager will drive program execution by aligning cross functional IT teams, plant stakeholders, engineering groups, and vendors to ensure successful application launches during vehicle programs.
This role is in a plant based environment and requires knowledge and deep comfort operating on the manufacturing floor in OEM environments.
Key Responsibilities
Own the delivery of a suite of Manufacturing IT applications for vehicle launch programs by coordinating cross functional teams and vendors
Lead program execution across multiple plant sites, serving as the primary point of coordination during launches
Manage and facilitate startup, daily stand up, and end of day meetings with IT and plant stakeholders
Act as the IT program interface between manufacturing plants, engineering teams, and external vendors
Support the global launch process, including hosting weekly status meetings, tracking execution, and reporting progress to engineering leadership
Oversee SAT and UAT activities, ensuring system leads complete and confirm validations
Coordinate training activities (logistics and scheduling only; no delivery of training content)
Facilitate all internal and external communications, ensuring alignment across IT, engineering, manufacturing, and vendor teams
Kick off and coordinate program workshops, ensuring readiness and stakeholder alignment
Maintain and update IT summaries and Statements of Work (SOWs) in partnership with IT Project Managers
Compensation:
$40/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
