We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our tema at a busy equipment rental shop. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, machinery and customers in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on rental equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
- Checking equipment in and out for customers.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and condition reporting.
- Operate the cash register, process payments and handle customer transactions.
- Assist customers with selecting the right equipment for their needs and provide basic usage instructions.
- Load and unload equipment as needed.
- Make occasional deliveries and pickups of rental equipment.
- Keep the shop, yard and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications include:
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with small engines preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions.
- Valid driver's license required for deliveries.
