HR Generalist (On-Site) - St. Paul, MN
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide on-site support for a manufacturing facility in St. Paul, MN. This is a highly visible role serving as the primary HR resource for the site during a temporary coverage period.

What You'll Do
As the on-site HR leader, you will:
Serve as the primary HR partner to site leadership, delivering day-to-day guidance and support
Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution
Support performance management, coaching leaders through feedback, reviews, and development plans
Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruiting and onboarding activities
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives aligned with business goals
Monitor workforce trends (turnover, absenteeism, engagement) and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and affirmative action requirements
Analyze HR data and provide insights to support business decisions
Facilitate HR training and communicate policies, programs, and updates
Support workforce planning, onboarding, and talent development
What Your Day Might Look Like
40-50% Employee relations (coaching, investigations, employee concerns)
20-25% Strategic partnership with leadership (planning, engagement initiatives)
10-15% Recruiting & onboarding support
10-15% HR operations (reporting, compliance, HRIS updates)
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role
Strong back ground in employee relations, performance management, and employment law
Ability to work independently as the sole HR representative on-site
Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
PHR or SHRM certification
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or UKG
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
