Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the Customer Support Department supporting members and providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Marquette, MI
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break
What's the Job?
Provide exceptional customer service to members and healthcare providers via inbound and outbound calls
Route information to appropriate departments and resolve member issues efficiently
Accurately document all correspondence and interactions in the claims management system
Assist with questions related to benefits, policies, eligibility, and medication denials
Support the organization's compliance with healthcare policies and confidentiality standards
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
At least two years of customer service or call center experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance
Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
