Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly line tasks, including assembling parts using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Operating forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components throughout the factory floor
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Assist in accurately organizing, packaging, and shipping individual orders.
- Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, stocking supplies, and preparing materials for production
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all manufacturing activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members on production goals, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility to promote a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools within a manufacturing or factory setting is highly preferred but not necessary.
- Shipping and Receiving experience is highly preferred but not necessary
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including inventory management and material handling
- Must have the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently in a team environment
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift is essential
