Will hand harvest blueberries according to employer’s specifications. Workers will be expected to work in a stooped, bent or upright position for extended periods of time. Blueberries will be placed in buckets weighing up to 6 pounds. Work will be performed in various weather conditions, possibly experiencing temperatures of 40 – 100 degrees. Piece rate is .60 a pound. Employer guarantees Michigan minimum wage of $8.50 hr. Employee may be working long hours and may need to be available evenings and weekends. Job duration is approximately from early August through mid September, depending on weather conditions.
