Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Hospitality to oversee multi location tasting room operations and support expansion across Michigan. This leader owns guest experience, team performance, and profitability across all locations.
The Director of Hospitality partners closely with ownership, product leadership, and events teams. This role ensures consistent hospitality standards, strong financial performance, and scalable operating practices.
This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast paced, customer facing environments.
Responsibilities
Lead day to day operations for multiple tasting room locations
Manage and develop tasting room managers and frontline teams
Own hospitality standards, service quality, and brand consistency
Oversee staffing, hiring, training, and performance management
Manage budgets, labor, inventory, and cost controls
Partner with product leadership on releases and promotions
Oversee cocktail program development and staff training
Manage retail operations and merchandising strategies
Own vendor relationships and contract negotiations
Oversee inventory accuracy and replenishment processes
Lead seasonal programming and guest engagement initiatives
Partner with events leadership to execute revenue generating events
Support new tasting room openings from planning through launch

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of hospitality leadership experience
Experience managing multi location operations
Strong background in cost management and budgeting
Proven success hiring, training, and leading teams
Experience in beverage, spirits, wine, or similar environments
Strong operational and organizational skills
Comfortable working nights, weekends, and peak seasons as needed - Experience opening new hospitality locations
Background in tasting rooms, distilleries, or wineries
Event driven or experience based revenue ownership
Familiarity with POS, inventory, and scheduling systems
