Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using tools such as Hoyer lifts and transfer belts.
• Monitor patient observations by recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately.
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Document medical records and care notes accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless communication among health care teams.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to support overall health and comfort.
