We're working with a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Tooling Designer to support the development and improvement of complex production tooling systems in a highly collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing tooling concepts from customer specifications and engineering requirements
Creating detailed 3D models and associated drawings using CAD software
Supporting tooling improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality
Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers to solve tooling challenges
Managing documentation, engineering standards, and project priorities
Ideal candidates will have:
5+ years of tooling, mold, or die design experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling functionality
CAD modeling and drafting experience
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while supporting team initiatives
