This position is responsible for ensuring that manufactured parts meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. To be considered for this role, you will need at least one-year prior experience as a Quality Technician or similar role.

Responsible for day-to-day quality functions including inspecting and testing in-process products as defined by the work instructions and quality standards, ensure parts are meeting the standards and quality control throughout the manufacturing process and generating appropriate documentation, records and reports to support the findings.

Essential Duties:

• Inspection processing for complex machined component. Perform first piece and in-process inspections using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gages, vision systems, indicators, pin gages, gage blocks, profilometer, and comparator).
• Prepare balloon drawings and inspection sheets.
• Interpret part drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product compliance.
• Assist with gage calibration, as well as maintain gages.
• Daily part inspection.
• Communicate documented inspection results to the Quality Supervisor and manufacturing personnel.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects, quality alerts and documentation updates.
• Other duties as assigned.
