- CNC and/or machining experience is required.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and learn coding of machines.
- Ability to complete first-piece and quality inspections as required for each part, and record information using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Mathematical skills: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of verbal, written, diagram and schedule instructions.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees and levels of management when needed.
- May be required to obtain a power industrial truck license.
- Able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
