Full-time 2nd shift (2 p.m. – 10 p.m.) and full-time 3rd shift (10 p.m. – 6 a.m.) positions available to
provide support in a residential setting to people who experience an intellectual disability. Assists
residents with maintaining and developing relationships in their home and their community.
Facilitates a variety of activities and creates an atmosphere that promotes independence,
personal decision-making, and self-sufficiency. Carries out behavior treatment plans. Assists with
activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation,passing medications, and transportation.
$500 signing bonus!
Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working with people who
have an intellectual disability is preferred. Must be willing to attend and complete paid training
including group home curriculum and CPR and First Aid. Possession of a valid, unrestricted Michigan
driver’s license is required. Must have the physical ability to carry out the typical job duties. Must
be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Wage
Base rate of $18.86 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, pension plan, and paid training.
