Purpose
The Millwright is responsible for assembly and installation of new or existing equipment. Follows all plant safety and production quality protocols.
Essential Responsibilities
- Verifies conformance of parts to bill of material and drawings
- Assemble machines from bill of material and drawings
- Assembling pneumatic and hydraulic circuits from drawings
- Verify machine motion and precision
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Skilled use of forklifts and scissor lifts required
- Understanding of proper use of rigging equipment (shackles, straps, chains, hoists, etc.)
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments
Technical/Functional Skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Use of hand tools
- Use of manual machining tools such as mill, lathe, bandsaw, grinder, etc.
- Capable of reading measuring devices and drawings
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands for gripping
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship - no sponsorship is available for this position
