Purpose
The welder will use specialized equipment to fabricate custom machinery for the automation industry.
Essential Responsibilities
- Read prints, stage, setup, and fabricate weldments
- Majority of work is fabrication to print- almost no fixture work
- Follow and complete established quality control processes and procedures
- Document work (sign off on completed parts/prints)
- Weld a wide range of parts: 1/4" sheet metal up to 3" plate as well as structural steel tubes and beams - occasionally stainless steel
- Assist in maintaining equipment (Lincoln and Miller welders; Hydmech saw)

Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of a welder apprenticeship (Preferred)
- Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands for gripping
