General Definition of Work
Under general supervision of the Road Patrol Sergeant provides building security at various county and contracted facilities. Transports inmates to and from court, along with transferring inmates to and from another agency and appointment. Provides security for courts and takes individuals into custody as ordered by the courts.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred: Associate’s degree in law enforcement or closely related area. MCOLES certified or certifiable.
Must successfully complete the employment screening process, which may include oral evaluations, psychological, physical and drug screening, as well as a complete background investigation.
