DESCRIPTION: Assemble Steel parts per Engineered Drawings. Mig welders must fabricate and weld all stages of production from start to finish which includes skid production, front and side wall production, weld out and final assembly of tailgate, grind, clean up and final inspection.
1. Mig Welding .045 Solid Wire (#SM70 ER70S-6) with a 95% Argon & 5% O2 Bulk Shielding gas
2. Lincoln 300Amp Weld Machines c/w Lincoln LN-7 Wire Feeders. Ability to weld in the parameters of 250-280 amps.
3. Production weld environment. Daily targets are provided and expected to be completed. Daily output is recorded and tracked.
4. All Welding is done “out of Position” Meaning there are no positioning tables, so welder must be able to weld all joints and positions. (Horizontal, Vertical down, and Overhead)

4. Torch Cutting (Oxy-Acetylene)
5. Plasma Torch
6. Overhead Hoisting/Rigging
7. Fork Truck Driving
8. Grinding
9. Use of Tape Measure, Common Hand Tools
Work Stations normally consist of two (2) welder/fabricators, with torches, grinders, overhead hoist, and fork truck available to assist during the manufacturing process. Prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
