IRRIGATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN
REQUIREMENTS:
- Clean driver's license and able to be insurable under company policy
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred
- Electrical and hydraulic knowledge, and irrigation equipment operation, is preferred
- Must be organized to complete duties in a timely manner
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, peers, vendors, and supervisory personnel
- Basic math skills are required
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Able to perform maintenance on irrigation systems, including but not limited to programming/replacing timers, repairing broken lines and wires, electrical to hydraulic troubleshooting and repair; replacing broken heads
- Able to perform spring start-up, mid-season checks, and winterization of systems
- Communicate with customers about their system, beneficial information, repairs, and answer questions
Work will be required on some weekends
