Our client, an automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Engine Assembly, Axle Assembly, and Production teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , excellent communication , and team collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay Range: $47 - $54 H/r
What's the Job?
Provide daily maintenance engineering support for engine and axle assembly lines
Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime
Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and assembly processes
Support equipment procurement, installation, and certification activities
Collaborate with production teams and provide technical coaching to operators and supervisors
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or 8+ years equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment
Ability to read drawings, BOMs, and work with AutoCAD (preferred)
