Job Description
The Dispense / Sealant Process Engineer supports a large automaton client's Paintshop Automation / Sealant Application group by designing, validating, and launching customer sealant and adhesive automation systems.
Process Engineering & Execution
Execute process engineering activities upon receipt of customer orders
Design and implement sealant and adhesive application processes using robots and applicator equipment
Perform process evaluations, feasibility studies, and proposal support for quotations
Develop and program offline simulations of sealer automation systems
? Software: FANUC ROBOGUIDE (HandlingPRO / PaintPRO)
Machine Vision & Quality Support
Implement machine vision systems to support inspection and quality verification
? Vision tools: FANUC iRVision, Liberty Reach, VMT
Support inspection, quality, and process verification activities
Customer & Launch Support
Serve as the primary customer contact during system launches (high travel role)
Support system installations, startup, and commissioning at customer sites
Conduct customer demonstrations and present technical results and analysis
Provide customer training and develop internal/external training documentation
Cross-Functional & Continuous Improvement
Support sales during customer appointments with technical expertise
Participate in new and ongoing product development within the Paintshop Automation Division
Provide continuous improvement feedback to the Process Engineering group
TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY
FANUC Robots (M-710, M-20 series used in sealer applications)
FANUC ROBOGUIDE (HandlingPRO, PaintPRO)
Machine Vision: FANUC iRVision, Liberty Reach, VMT
Dispense / Fluid Delivery Equipment (high-pressure pneumatic & hydraulic systems)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation:
$35/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
