$136,070/yr - $150,000/yr

Duties:

Ally Bank seeks a Sr. Engineer – Software Eng based out of our office in Detroit, MI. This is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. This position does not require travel. Contribute to the design, coding, testing, support and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software. Collaborate with other developers and provide significant contributions to develop specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs. Use industry technical knowledge, development best practices, creativity, company best practices, and business priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related and three (3) years of experience in a related occupation.  Experience must include: 3 years of experience with all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support; experience with .Net, SQL Server, and GitLab; experience writing and reviewing software design specifications in an object oriented development environment; experience with change management tools and processes such as Agile SDLC, and CICD\Dev Ops.
