Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production equipment in the molding, paint, and assembly departments. This role uses both electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous production in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely records of all work performed using CMMS and PMC systems in accordance with established work order procedures.
Troubleshoot, repair, or replace components on DexSys equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in the molding, paint, and assembly departments.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment by inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts as necessary to prevent unplanned downtime.
Use required hand tools and test equipment to perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
Read, interpret, and apply information from parts breakdowns, machine schematics, and technical documentation to diagnose and resolve issues.
Fabricate or modify equipment and components as required to support production needs and improve equipment performance.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and controls, including PLCs and robotics, to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
Follow established safety procedures and maintenance best practices while working on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Essential Skills
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and components on industrial equipment.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, including control circuits and power distribution.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
Ability to read and interpret machine schematics, parts breakdowns, and technical documentation.
Proficiency in using standard hand tools and maintenance tools to perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
Robotics troubleshooting experience in a production or industrial environment.
Associate's Degree required, or equivalent experience as outlined in the qualifications.
Strong documentation skills for recording work performed in CMMS and PMC systems.
Journeyman-level maintenance or electrical skills, supported by a journeyman card or equivalent experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Six years of directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of an Associate's Degree.
Combination of relevant work experience and current schooling toward a degree will be considered.
Experience with PLC programming is a plus.
Experience in maintaining equipment in molding, paint, or assembly operations is beneficial.
Ability to fabricate or modify equipment and components as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
Comfort working across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
