We are seeking an experienced CMDB Product Owner (ServiceNow) to lead the strategy, governance, and health of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the CMDB. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement CMDB strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ITSM processes.
Establish and enforce CMDB governance policies and procedures.
Monitor and maintain the health of the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and document CMDB requirements.
Lead CMDB audits and reconciliation activities to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Provide guidance and training to CMDB users and stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to CMDB and ITSM.
Manage CMDB-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Develop and maintain CMDB dashboards and reports to provide visibility into CMDB health and performance.
This role is based in Auburn Hills, MI and is required to be on-site in our HQ building 5 days per week.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing a CMDB / CMS, alongside proven experience defining strategy and success metrics.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform and CMDB module.
Proven experience in developing and implementing CMDB strategies and governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and project management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
NICE TO HAVE: Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ITIL).
NICE TO HAVE; Experience / certification with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping would be a plus
