2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm (M-F)
- An Operations Technician is part of our pay for skills program and allows individuals to continue to build skills providing opportunities to increase their compensation.
- Skill blocks may include skills in Assembly, Machine Operation or Material Handling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Individuals with Material Handling skills receive, store, and pull raw and finished goods through the facility in a safe, accurate and timely manner, along with the proper part tracking.
- Must maintain a valid forklift license and follow MIOSHA standards as a professional Material Handler
- The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
- Required to learn additional functions through cross-training in other departments.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Regular and predictable attendance based on scheduled hours.
- Works overtime as needed
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Education/Experience
One of the following is required:
- (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example)
- (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency
Skills and Abilities
- Operate equipment (standup/ sit-down/ swing reach forklift, aerial lift) in a safe and timely manner.
- Competent in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
- Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.
- Demonstrated willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment.
- Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10lbs, frequently lift and move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Required to communicate and to be able to see with or without correction.
