Job Description
The Emissions Reliability Engineer will be responsible for leading the execution and delivery of the RGE function within the propulsion calibration organization. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution and report out of the RGE function to the respective program teams. The role will coordinate daily and weekly activities pertaining to ensuring the RGE fleet is on track to its deliverables of mileage and testing. The role will also provide direction and guidance to a team of analysts and engineers to maintain and manage the fleet across 2 development sites in Michigan.
In addition, test plans and timelines will be developed and executed with reports generated to communicate status of the program to larger development and management teams.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering
3 years of work experience in the area of vehicle fleet management, vehicle maintenance and vehicle testing.
Background in vehicle development attributes including drivability, emissions and diagnostics.
Exposure to data analysis relating to drivability, emissions, and fuel economy
Data acquisition experience collecting and processing data providing meaningful summaries and next steps
Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
Effective communication skills and able to create and present information in a clear and concise manner to colleagues and management
Preferred requirements:
Master's degree in Engineering
DFSS green belt or higher
Execution of Problem-solving techniques (RedX, Six Sigma, 3L5W, Kaizen, 5S)
Prior hybrid and/or Electric vehicle testing experience
