Job Title: Robotic Assembly Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and maintaining robotic paint assemblies by reading blueprints and schematics, using hand and power tools, and performing quality checks to ensure each system meets specification
You will work on a variety of robotic paint assemblies, preparing parts and materials, assembling components, and documenting production and quality results while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
Openings are available on both first and second shift, with occasional extended hours based on production needs
Job Responsibilities
Assemble robotic paint systems by working from blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
Review and interpret parts lists, blueprints, and schematics to understand the required assembly steps and sequence
Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials needed for each job
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts and subassemblies into completed robotic assemblies
Position parts and subassemblies accurately by using templates or reading and applying precise measurements
Examine connections and assemblies for correct fit and alignment, fastening parts and subassemblies securely
Verify that completed components and assemblies meet specifications by measuring and inspecting them
Conduct quality control checks throughout the assembly process and document results on production and quality forms
Identify and help resolve assembly problems to ensure products meet specifications, escalating issues when additional resources are needed
Perform basic repair, refurbishment, or maintenance tasks on robotic assemblies as needed, depending on experience
Clean and maintain the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient workspace
Follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment
Use equipment, tools, and supplies efficiently to conserve resources while achieving production goals
Accurately complete required production and quality documentation for each job or project
Collaborate with team members and trainers to learn new processes and continuously improve assembly techniques
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience in assembly and disassembly, such as fixing cars, building robot lines, mechanical work, or carpentry
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and assembly drawings
Ability to read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions for mechanical and robotic systems
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for mechanical assembly
Mechanical aptitude for assembling components, aligning parts, and verifying correct fit and function
Basic understanding of robotics, automation, or mechanical systems gained through work or practical experience
Capability to conduct basic quality checks and measurements to verify that components meet specifications
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures consistently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, positioning, and fastening components
Reliability in meeting deadlines and supporting a deadline-based production environment
Ownership of a basic mechanical tool set to bring to work, including sockets, wrenches, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and a hammer or mallet

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
