We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Wrapper to join our team. This position plays a key role in preparing, packaging, and presenting fresh meat products while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Wrap, label, and price fresh meat products accurately
- Prepare and stock meat cases with a focus on quality and presentation
- Ensure proper rotation of product to maintain freshness
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with weighing and packagaing customer orders as needed
- Keep display cases fully stocked and visually appealing
- Work closely with meat cutters and department team members
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous grocery or meat department experience preferred, but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion
- Must be comfortable working in a cooler environment
- Must be able to handle and exposed to raw meat products
Schedule Requirements
- Part-time hours (28-30 hours per week)
- Daytime availability required
- Weekend availability is a must
